Senior Developer / Data Scientist

Located within the Queensland University of Technology, the Senior Software Developer / Data Scientist position is a key role in leading the design and development of the Australian Internet Observatory, working in collaboration with the NCRIS funded Australian Research Data Commons (ARDC) and other key national partner institutions.

In this role you will:

• Design, build and maintain scalable pipelines for ingesting, processing and analysing web-scale social and digital media data

• Implement FAIR data management, governance frameworks and reproducible research practices

• Optimise modular software components to ensure high availability and performance across platforms

• Collaborate with researchers and partner institutions to translate analytical needs into production-ready solutions
