Program Manager, Australian Internet Observatory
Full-time, Fixed Term position until June 2028
Salary HEW 9 + 17% Superannuation and Flexible Working Arrangements
Based at RMIT Melbourne CBD campus
The AIO Program Manager is a key leadership and technical role with responsibility for delivering a ground-breaking, national research infrastructure program involving a range of data collection tools and services. The position involves planning, management and implementation of the Australian Internet Observatory project plan working in collaboration with partner leads, researchers and technical staff across 6 partner universities. The role includes supporting a distributed governance model, project and technical management, stakeholder engagement and financial and project reporting.
To be successful in this position, you’ll have:
Proven track record delivering complex digital or software-based projects with distributed teams in a fast-paced environments.
Demonstrated ability to manage operations, finance and reporting, and facilitate strong programgovernance.
Strong understanding of software delivery, systems design and project execution using waterfall and agile frameworks.
Extensive experience in facilitation and development of business requirements documents and functional specifications.
