This one day workshop, held in the historic Council Chamber of the Francis Ormond Building at RMIT, brings together experts from Australia and the United States to report and compare recent experiences in both countries. It will examine the capabilities of current AI systems, the dynamics of digital media platforms, and the institutional, technical and regulatory strategies that can protect elections now and in the future.
The workshop is a collaboration of the ARC Centre of Excellence for Automated Decision-Making and Society and the University of Southern California’s Election Cybersecurity Initiative.
The Australian Internet Observatory’s leads Julian Thomas (RMIT), Dan Angus (QUT), Christopher Leckie (UniMel) and Damiano Spina (RMIT) will be running multiple sessions on digital infrastructures and platform testing. Check out the program for attending below.
